The cooling bed is a working table for effective cooling of rolled
products (rebar, steel, steel pipe, etc.) in the metallurgical
rolling industry. Cooling beds mainly include pull-tooth cooling
beds, rack stepping cooling beds, claw cooling beds, carrier chain
cooling beds, and rolling plate cooling beds.The cooling bed
transports the rolled products into the cooling bed through the
roller table, and then uses racks to pull the teeth step by step to
gradually move the workpieces arranged on the cooling bed to the
top of the cooling bed to achieve the cooling effect of the
workpiece . The cooling bed equipment is mainly used for slow and
natural cooling of bars after rolling. In the profile production
line, the cooling bed also has a pre-bending function for the
profile to prevent the profile from being irregularly bent due to
unequal quality during the natural cooling process.
Composition: The cooling bed is composed of a mechanical
transmission system, a water cooling system, a cooling bed work
surface, and a fixed bracket. Cooling bed is an important auxiliary
equipment in steel rolling production. The function of the cooling
bed is to cool the rolled pieces above 800°C to below 150-100°C,
and at the same time make the rolled pieces run in a predetermined
direction, and ensure that the rolled pieces are not bent during
transportation. Due to the wide range of shapes of rolled products,
the types of cooling beds in the rolling workshop are varied.

The multiple feet bar after the segment flying shears is
transported to the cold bed area and accelerated, so that the bar
produces a certain initial tension, and keeps the bar running in a
straight state. It also makes the bar can rise quickly after being
cut off, and separates it from the bar that is still being rolled.
